John Lawson Park
A family friendly beach park in West Vancouver. A great playground for kids and picnics. The seawall runs West from John Lawson.
John Lawson park is located at the east end of the West Vancouver seawall. There is not much beach, but plenty of grass to picnic on and plenty of shade for those seeking it. There is a big playground for kids and a smallish beach. John Lawson faces south over English Bay and provides good views from Lion’s Gate Bridge westward. It is a great starting point for those wanting to walk or run the seawall to the west. John Lawson is not a good swimming beach - those wanting to swim should head west to Dundarave or east to Ambleside.
