Photography
Vancouver is a photography mecca. Photograph everything from mountains and water, to rivers and people, to cars and buildings, to planes and million dollar motor yachts.
The Coal Harbour and Stanley Park area is a fantastic spot to conquer a spectrum of shots. You may want to bike from the convention centre right around to the False Creek area. The 9 O’Clock gun area in Stanley Park gives a nice shot fo the city, water, boats and float planes. A little further on will give you the mountains and harbour. Around the other side of the park, you will get some good beach shots. Another good location is heading for the Cypress Mountain view point in West Vancouver. The view point is about a 30 minute drive from Downtown Vancouver on a good traffic day. It will give you a very scenic shot back over the city and water. You will also be able to see Mt. Baker in Washington. It’s hard to list them all, so just get out and start photographing!
