Picnicking

Pack your picnic and hit a beach, a park or something more remote like a river on the North Shore. Some picnic locations will provide benches in park like settings and even have charcoal BBQ pits.

Some of the best picnic spots are those that require a little sweat to get to. Consider packing a lunch and hitting the trails on the North Shore mountains or Seymour Demonstration Forest on bike or skates.

A dawn coffee and muffin picnic is best done in Lighthouse Park in West Vancouver. Hit the trails early in the morning and head for the water. You will find a spectacular and calm view of the Bay - it is quite serene.

A dusk picnic is best done at Spanish Banks or English Bay. Spanish Banks gets some good light right into the late evening in West Vancouver - so take the BBQ and coffee along!
