West Vancouver Seawall (West)
A popular seawall at all times of the year for walking and jogging. Spectacular views South over English Bay. Adjacent to Dundarave Park in the West.
The West Vancouver Seawall is a 1.5 kilometer gem to the North Shore. You can access the seawall from Dundarave in the west or John Lawson in the east. The seawall provides excellent views of English Bay and Lion’s Gate Bridge to the east. You can access Ambleside via the shoreline lanes from John Lawson eastward. Try an early morning run from Dundarave to Ambleside and back, and then follow that with a frigid dip in the ocean at Dundarave. You can walk or run the West Vancouver Seawall. Bikes and in-line skates are not permitted. If you are into something more relaxing, then try walking the seawall, enjoying the several viewpoints and watching the people. Things can get busy on weekends when the weather is good. The West Vancouver Seawall also provides a separate path from your dogs to walk or run alongside you. There are a few watering holes for your pets along the way.
